This month SuCo wants to spotlight someone who is the epitome of a super star teammate, Quentin Parr. Not only is Quentin a highly trusted team member on our Analytics team, but he is also hard-working and endlessly curious. Since joining the Analytics team just a year ago, Quentin has made a remarkable impact on the Home Services business. He has significantly improved the efficiency of our closed-loop reporting process and elevated it further by integrating forecasting capabilities. With his strong technical acumen and excellent communication skills, Quentin led the development of new dashboards and collaborated with business users to identify new ways to improve our business at an individual buyer as well as the network level. Beyond his analytical skills, Quentin brings energy, humility and a positive attitude to every interaction, earning the respect and trust of stakeholders across the board. Take a minute to learn a little more about Quentin…
What’s the most challenging (but rewarding) part of your role?
The most challenging part of my role is the fast-paced nature of the work. Every day brings a new problem to solve, which keeps me constantly learning and celebrating wins along the way. No two days are ever the same, and that variety is what keeps me motivated and engaged.
What’s a skill you’ve developed here at SuCo that you didn’t expect to?
I’ve become comfortable with ‘What-If’ analysis, which goes beyond basic reporting to show how different decisions might play out. Understanding the impacts of everyday decisions allows us to act in a more calculated and confident way. This skill has not only changed how I approach daily tasks but has also helped me adapt to the dynamic nature of lead generation.
How does the culture here help you thrive in your role here at SuCo?
The collaborative culture at SuCo has been a game changer for me. It makes it easy to ask questions, learn from others and take on new challenges with confidence. Being part of a team that encourages open communication and sharing new ideas has helped me grow exponentially as an analyst.
If you weren’t a Business Analyst, what would you be doing?
If I weren’t a Business Analyst, I’d likely be pursuing something in the sports world. Sports have been a huge part of my life and have taught me lessons that I carry into my professional career. There’s something special about the competition and camaraderie involved, and I know I’d find fulfillment turning this passion into a career.
What’s your go-to pump-up song before tackling a big project?
Depends on the mood I’m in, but Alive by Empire of the Sun is a staple for me. It’s upbeat and helps set the tone.
