SuCo Spotlight May ’24 – Frank Prickett
This month SuCo wants to spotlight an Integrations Rockstar, Frank Prickett. Frank joined SuCo in May of 2021, without any previous industry experience, and has evolved into a master of platforms, troubleshooting and lead generation. He has also taken the initiative to learn programming languages as well as industry standards to help several teams improve monetization. Frank is one of the magic makers in SuCo’s culture, a master of his trades and a proven leader. Take a minute to learn a little more about Frank…
What is one lesson you have learned in your career that has helped you grow professionally?
One of the biggest lessons I have learned throughout my career has been to be a ‘sponge’ and absorb as much as you can from each experience. This especially held true when I made a career change at the age of 52 and moved from Arizona working at NAU to working at SuCo in Colorado (family was a big reason for this move – Nana Stacy and I were chasing grandbabies 😊. The knowledge and skills I had soaked up during my time in Flagstaff were vital to my transition to SuCo where I was able to adapt seamlessly into a new industry and role. There is still so much to learn, and I truly learn something new every day. I’ll continue to soak up all the SuCo skills I can and then wring out that ‘sponge’ of knowledge to hopefully make the team and company better.
What do you appreciate most about SuCo’s culture and values?
SuCo has a family first approach and a flexible work from home environment, so I really appreciated being able to work from Arizona in March of 2023. I was able to help my mother in honoring my stepdad and allowing him to ‘pass’ from home while he battled cancer. This is just one example of the family first culture here at SuCo.
What is the most adventurous thing you have done?
Snorkeling in Hawaii. I love being by water, just not in it. I couldn’t tread water to save my life, so this was a huge hurdle for me!
If you could have any fictional character as a coworker, who would it be and why?
Jim Halpert. He knows the ins and outs of the job and still keeps the environment of the office fun and entertaining.
