What inspired your career path, and how did you end up in your current role?
A move to San Diego launched my career in Lead Generation. I have a Marketing Major and a Finance Minor so Lead Generation fits perfectly with my education. I’ve been in this industry for 18 years and I enjoy supporting, learning and expanding my experience through trying new roles.
What’s the best piece of career advice you’ve received, and how has it influenced you?
You can use this in your personal and professional life, but learn from the past, set goals, but focus on the present. You should always be able to see the opportunities in front of you. Secondly, keep a close eye on costs… personally my husband would say I’m not practicing this well 🙂
What’s a book, podcast or resource that has inspired you recently?
One of my top Podcasts is the Lex Friedman Podcast. He has an academic perspective and strives to continue to learn and understand. My book choices are not inspiring; more entertaining and to separate from reality lol.
What was your dream job as a kid?
I didn’t really have a dream job path growing up, but I knew I wanted a job that would allow me to grow, travel and enjoy new experiences. I’ve met some of my best friends through work and I’d say that has made this industry a dream job.
