SuCo Spotlight February ’25 – Randy Nickel

This month SuCo wants to spotlight one of our rockstar Account Managers, Randy Nickel. Randy joined the Suco team just over seven months ago on the Insurance team where he quickly hit the ground running to make an impact on our business. During his time, he’s been tasked to lead all our day-to-day campaign efforts within our Medicare, Health and Life verticals. In his first seven months in the space, Randy has been able to take over the reins of our key clients and provide tremendous value coming from a background of being a former Insurance agent himself. From driving success with our clients’ needs, building lasting relationships, and consistently bringing new energy to the team, he has had a vast impact on helping our partners thrive. What’s the most unexpected skill that helps you in your role? 

Time management. Being able to prioritize buyers, follow up efficiently, and knowing when to focus on an issue can make a huge impact. Being organized and knowing how to use your time effectively ensures that you stay ahead of the game.

What’s one myth about sales you’d love to bust? 

Not all buyers are the same, each buyer is unique, and tailoring your approach to each buyer’s needs is what leads to success.

What’s your personal sales motto or mantra? 

Relationships are key. Focusing on building long-term relationships with buyers ensures continued success. Sales should always be about fostering trust and loyalty, rather than just hitting a target or making a one-time sale.


What is the best way to celebrate closing a deal? 

Sharing it with the team. Celebrating/acknowledging all wins, big or small, with the team. A lot of times it is a team effort to see the results we want. So, whenever anyone in the team has success, we all win.
