SuCo Spotlight December ’25 – Heidie Nevarez

This month, SuCo is excited to spotlight a team member who truly lets her work speak for itself, Heidie Nevarez. Heidie joined SuCo four years ago as part of the Operations Team and has been a rock ever since. She’s the definition of “first on, last off” and knows Lead Generation and Performance Marketing inside and out. When it comes to troubleshooting pixels, or one of our internal platforms, Heidie is the go-to. She’s built a deep level of expertise that continues to support and shape our team. Beyond her technical skills, Heidie is kind, humble and is always willing to jump in to help. While supporting multiple business units she genuinely takes the time to connect with the people she works with. Take a minute to get to know Heidie…

What’s one thing you wish more people understood about your role?

We are the central hub; we have a deeper understanding of not only the business side but how the technical side operates and for things to work smoothly we look at both aspects. We tend to look at the whole picture. We see what the business wants/needs and are the middle ground to help achieve those. We are the go-to problem solvers when things are not working correctly.

How do you approach troubleshooting when things get chaotic?

My approach is rooted in taking things a strategic step at a time, especially when the environment becomes chaotic. I lean on my ‘scrappy’ background from when I was newer to the lead generation space; that experience taught me to quickly prioritize, isolate variables, and remain calm under pressure. I’m always upfront in admitting that I don’t know everything, but I’m also relentless in my commitment to learning. I view every chaotic situation as an opportunity for rapid skill acquisition, and I’m always willing to dive deep and get scrappy to understand the technical side, accomplish the task, and ensure the problem is solved at its root.

What’s your favorite part of working with the team?

My favorite part is the high level of synergy we’ve sort of developed along the way. We’ve been working so effortlessly for quite some time that we’ve truly become a ‘hive mind.’ Our communication is absolutely top-tier; we can anticipate each other’s needs and often know the next topic up for discussion before it’s even fully introduced. Beyond that, I love the dynamic nature of our work. Our workday never looks the same, and the challenge of tackling diverse issues as a unified, cohesive unit is incredibly engaging and rewarding. We always take the time to learn new things when the opportunity presents itself.

What’s something you hope to accomplish over the next year in the affiliate What’s the best book, show, or movie you’ve enjoyed recently?

I have 2 kids so the latest movie we went to see was Zootopia 2 and it was the cutest sequel ever. What I truly loved was the surprisingly complex twist in the story that I honestly didn’t see coming; it was genuinely clever and it elevated the film for adults, all without giving away any spoilers, of course!

What’s a song that always boosts your mood and why?

As a Latina, my go-to mood booster is ‘Mañana Será Bonito’ by Karol G. The title translates to ‘Tomorrow Will Be Beautiful,’ and it’s a powerful reminder that nothing is permanent. You might be having a one-off day where nothing seems to go right, but the sun will always rise on a better tomorrow. That message of positivity, paired with the instantly uplifting energy of Latin music, is definitely the way to lift my spirits and reset my mindset.
